LEON RUSH SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULTS IN HIGH WYCOMBE AND REHABILITATION UPDATE IN MILTON KEYNES

In July 2022, Leon Rush is now residing in Granby, Milton Keynes. Previously, in July 2016, he was released from custody and was living in a bail hostel in Oxfordshire.

Back in October 2011, Rush was sentenced for serious sexual offences. A 26-year-old man at the time, he was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison after being convicted on two counts of sexual assault on a child under 13. Additionally, he was convicted of causing a child under 13 to partake in sexual activity, along with a fourth charge related to sexual activity with a child under 16.

The sentencing took place at Reading Crown Court on a Monday, where Judge Peter Ross stated that he was “satisfied there is a risk of further offences.” As part of the sentence, Rush’s name will be permanently added to the sex offenders' register.

Det Con Luisa Taylor, the officer leading the investigation, expressed her satisfaction with the outcome, saying: “I am extremely pleased with the result and hope that those who have suffered at the hands of Rush can now feel safe and begin to move on with their lives.”
