MET POLICE OFFICER SUSPENDED OVER SEXUAL OFFENCES AGAINST FOUR PEOPLE
A Metropolitan Police officer has appeared in court charged with sexual offences against three men and a woman.Sgt Lee Symons, aged 47 and from Feltham, faces a total of 11 charges relating to four individuals who are all known to him.
The charges include assault by penetration and five counts of sexual assault by touching.
These alleged offences are said to have taken place over a period spanning from 2009 to 2021.
Symons, who has been suspended from duty, was formally charged on 23 December and released on conditional bail.
He is scheduled to appear at Southwark Crown Court on 24 February.
All allegations involve victims who are personally known to him, and the case is under investigation.
