A swift police response led to her being found the following day at Hounslow railway station.
She was taken into police protection and, during interviews, disclosed that she had arranged to meet Ali-Jamac, who had taken her to a hotel where he engaged in sexual activity with her.
This revelation set off a police investigation into the incident.
On May 2, the day after the police learned of Ali-Jamac's involvement and his attempt to leave the country, he was apprehended at Heathrow Airport while attempting to board a flight to Ethiopia.
Ali-Jamac had purchased his ticket on the very day he discovered that authorities were actively searching for him, indicating an apparent attempt to evade justice.
A detailed examination of his mobile phone uncovered crucial evidence, including a text message sent on May 1 from the owner of the vehicle used by Ali-Jamac to bring the girl to the hotel.
The message revealed that police had seized the car as part of the ongoing investigation.
Further messages included a communication from Ali-Jamac's solicitor, indicating that he had received a voicemail from his client and was attempting to contact him to check on his well-being.
The police investigation, led by Detective Constable Sally Michail of North Surrey's Child Exploitation and Missing Unit, was meticulous and relentless.
Officers went as far as reviewing security camera footage from the hotel to identify Ali-Jamac swiftly.
Their efforts proved successful, leading to his quick arrest at Heathrow.
Ali-Jamac admitted to three counts of sexual activity with a child during the court proceedings and pleaded guilty on August 1.
His sentencing took place at Kingston Crown Court on Monday, August 19, where he was sentenced to a six-year prison term.
