Lee Shaw, 27, a registered sex offender described by police as “very high risk,” was wanted after failing to comply with sex offender notification requirements and breaching bail conditions following an appearance at Fleetwood Magistrates’ Court on September 1, 2011.
Shaw, who had five previous convictions for similar offences, most recently in August 2011, was originally convicted at Edinburgh High Court in 2003 and sentenced to 18 months in prison for lewd, indecent and libidinous behaviour after sexually assaulting a young boy.
Police said he failed to report to officers and missed an appointment with the Probation Service after being remanded on bail to stay at an address in Fleetwood.
