LEE ANDREWS FROM REDNAL INVOLVED IN CHILD PORNOGRAPHY CASE JUST BEFORE SISTER TRACIE ANDREWS' RELEASE FROM PRISON

In a disturbing development just weeks before his sister Tracie Andrews was released from incarceration, Lee Andrews, aged 45, from Rednal, Birmingham, faced serious allegations related to child exploitation.

Lee Andrews appeared in Worcester Crown Court on July 28, where he admitted to possessing and creating indecent images of children. Specifically, he pleaded guilty to 11 counts of making indecent photographs and one count of possessing indecent images. His actions have cast a shadow over his reputation and raised concerns about his conduct.

Following his admission, Andrews was sentenced to a 24-month supervision order. As part of his sentencing, he was prohibited from being in the company of any child under the age of 16 without the presence of a parent or guardian. Additionally, he was barred from approaching any child who is alone and attempting to engage them in conversation, a restriction aimed at preventing further harm.

To ensure compliance with these restrictions, Andrews is required to use computers only with software installed that blocks access to child pornography. These measures are intended to prevent any recurrence of his offending behavior.

At the time of his court appearance, Andrews was living in a modest flat situated above a family clothing store in Rednal. Despite his criminal charges, Andrews publicly claimed, “I am not a pervert,” attempting to deny the allegations.

He works as a courier for a company based in Redditch, Worcestershire, and expressed support for his sister, Tracie Andrews, who was released from prison on August 13 after serving a 14-year sentence for the murder of her partner, Lee Harvey. Tracie, now 42, was pictured shopping in a town in the Home Counties on her first day of freedom.

In a rare public statement, Lee Andrews stated, “I think it’s good Tracie has been released. She has served her time and deserves a second chance.” He also emphasized that they have not spoken or seen each other since her release, maintaining that she lives her life and he lives his.

Tracie Andrews was convicted in 1996 for the brutal murder of Lee Harvey, whom she stabbed 37 times and slashed his throat with a penknife in a country lane in Worcestershire. Her actions shocked the community, and she initially claimed her partner was murdered in a road rage incident, even making public appeals to find the supposed killer.

Since her imprisonment, Tracie has taken steps to conceal her identity, including changing her name to Tia Carter, dyeing her hair black, and undergoing approximately £5,000 worth of plastic surgery at the taxpayers’ expense. Her case remains one of the most notorious in the region, marked by her violent crime and subsequent efforts to evade recognition.
