A woman from Rhondda Cynon Taff has received a prison sentence after being convicted of several child abuse charges.

Leah Church, aged 37 and from Tonyrefail, was found guilty of multiple allegations of child cruelty and a sexual offense during a trial at Swansea Crown Court.

She was sentenced to serve five years behind bars.

After completing her sentence, she will need to register as a sex offender for a period of ten years.

Additionally, a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and restraining order will be imposed to restrict her activities and contact.
