MAN BREACHES RESTRAINING ORDER AND IS CAUGHT IN BED WITH EX
Police discovered that a man had ignored a restraining order - after finding him in bed with his former partner.Kirklees Magistrates' Court heard that Layton MacLeod was handed a restraining order banning him from contacting his ex in April following his conviction for assault.
However, officers located MacLeod at the 24-year-old's home in Spen Valley Road, Ravensthorpe, on September 25.
Deputy district judge Edward Barr told MacLeod: “The order continues until a proper formal application is made to the court.” MacLeod was given a 12-month conditional discharge but was ordered to pay £45 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
