VIOLENT MISOGYNIST KYRIE MICHAEL SENT TO JAIL FOR ASSAULTING PARTNER
A violent "misogynistic bully" jailed for attacking his partner is a danger to women, a court heard.
Judge James Sampson told him: "Indeed, I pity the woman who has the misfortune to enter in a relationship with you in the future, because you are a violent misogynistic bully and a danger to women." He had previously punched a woman in her face and arms ten days after he was given a suspended prison sentence for another matter.
The judge marked that breach with an extra six month sentence, to the 12 months he imposed for assault, causing bodily harm on his then girlfriend.
And he imposed a five-year restraining order.
"It was born out of a concocted jealously on your part." the judge said.
"It showed a hostility towards the female sex.
It was not opportunistic or sporadic, because you were looking for a fight.
The injury was extremely nasty; the photo demonstrates that." She had asked him to leave her home and Michael was apologetic after an argument.
He did not go for several hours, leaving her to call police.
After Michael, of Perlethorpe Avenue, was arrested, he appeared in court and pleaded guilty at Nottingham Magistrates' Court and the case was sent to the crown court.
Nottingham Crown Court heard 24-year-old Michael's victim suffered a pronounced bruise on her cheekbone.
