'RELENTLESS' STALKER JAILED FOR THIRD TIME
A former pilot in the Royal Navy who persistently harassed his former partner has received his third prison sentence.Kim Allison, age 63, engaged in a campaign of stalking by sending anonymous messages and greeting cards to his victim, monitoring her activities at her bridge club, and listing her property for sale through an online estate agent.
Having previously served two spells in prison for harassment of Nancy Galloway, Allison resumed his behavior immediately after his latest release.
He was sentenced to five and a half years in prison at Exeter Crown Court.
Allison first met Ms Galloway, a businesswoman also aged 63, in 2016.
Following their five-month relationship's end, he began a pattern of stalking.
Court proceedings revealed that he even posted an image of her on a pornography website.
Additionally, he sent her an anonymous Christmas card while incarcerated, published a love poem titled 'Farewell to Nancy' online, and enrolled her on a dating site.
On one occasion, shortly after being released from Exeter Prison, he used his mobile to create anonymous email accounts during his bus journey home.
Allison, residing on Wellbeck Road in Yeovil, denied the charges of stalking and violating a restraining order, but a jury at Exeter Crown Court convicted him in February.
The judge, David Evans, issued a new restraining order forbidding him from contacting Ms Galloway or entering extensive parts of Torbay, where she resides.
The judge commented that Ms Galloway was deeply distressed by Allison's relentless harassment, which severely impacted her life.
Defence barrister Joss Ticehurst stated that Allison now understands the importance of moving forward with his life.
