A man from Arundel who shared indecent images of children with other individuals involved in similar offenses has been sentenced to prison.

Kieran Hornsby, aged 29 and a former teaching assistant residing on Canada Road in Arundel, used his own X (previously Twitter) account to distribute the most serious category A indecent images of minors.

His arrest occurred in March 2023, during which police recovered several electronic devices containing evidence of his distribution activities and indications of an interest in sexual activities involving children.

Authorities also discovered voyeuristic photographs of an adult woman who was unaware that the images had been taken.

Hornsby’s charges included the distribution of category A indecent images of children and voyeurism.

He admitted to both charges and appeared at Lewes Crown Court on 15 July, where he was sentenced to three years in prison.

Additionally, he received a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

He is also required to register as a sex offender for life, which imposes strict limitations on his access to digital technology, internet usage, and international travel.

A restraining order was issued to protect the voyeurism victim, who is granted lifelong anonymity by law.

Hornsby, who previously worked as a teaching assistant in a local school, also gained notoriety as a social media personality through his YouTube channel ‘wecricket’.
