KEVIN WELLS FROM FETCHAM SENTENCED FOR HISTORIC SEXUAL ABUSE OF TWO GIRLS IN SURREY

In a case that has spanned over two decades, Kevin Wells, a 56-year-old man from Fetcham, has been sentenced to four years in prison for the sexual abuse of two young girls. The offences, which took place between 1988 and 1991, involved disturbing acts of indecent assault committed against the victims when they were between the ages of 12 and 15.

Wells, a former soldier, pleaded guilty to ten charges related to the abuse. The victims, whose identities have been protected, were subjected to these heinous acts during a period when Wells was living in Eastwick Drive, Fetcham. At the time of the crimes, Wells had recently left his military service and was residing with his wife, who was employed by Surrey Police, and their young son.
