KEVIN TASKER CAUGHT IN ST ANDREWS GOLF CLUB CHILD PORN SCANDAL

A disturbing incident has come to light involving Kevin Tasker, a 26-year-old porter employed at the prestigious Royal and Ancient Golf Club located in the historic town of St Andrews. The incident revolves around the illegal possession and download of indecent images of minors, which was uncovered during a police investigation.

Tasker, who served as a night porter at the club for a period of two years, was found to have engaged in the illicit activity during his work shifts. According to reports, he admitted to downloading the images out of boredom while on duty. The police investigation revealed that Tasker had accumulated a total of 58 indecent photographs depicting young girls aged between 12 and 14 years old. These images portrayed the minors in erotic poses, often dressed in minimal clothing such as swimsuits or underwear, which is deeply concerning.

The case was brought before Cupar Sheriff Court, where Kevin Tasker, a resident of St Andrews, pleaded guilty to two counts related to the possession of indecent photographs of children. The charges also included the act of taking or allowing such images to be taken or made. It was established that the images were downloaded from websites identified as 'teen model' sites in October 2005. These websites operated on a paid model, offering previews of images before requiring payment for full access. The images were classified as category-one on the Copine Scale, indicating the lowest level of severity but still representing a serious offense.

During the court proceedings, it was disclosed that Tasker had lost his job as a result of the charges. He has since found employment as a delivery driver. His defense lawyer emphasized that Tasker did not download images depicting children in naked or undressed states. Additionally, it was noted that he has a young child who has expressed support for him amid the ongoing legal process. Sheriff George Evans decided to defer sentencing until July 10 to allow for the preparation of background reports. Meanwhile, Tasker was granted bail and released from custody pending further proceedings.
