DUNDEE WOMAN VICTIMIZED BY EX-PARTNER KEVIN OGG IN VIOLENT ATTACK
A woman in Dundee was subjected to a brutal assault by her former partner, Kevin Ogg, who armed himself with a glass bottle and used it to attack her inside her own home.
The incident took place on September 19 of the previous year.
Ogg, known for his history of violent behavior and previous imprisonment for domestic crimes against the same woman, threatened to kill her during the assault.
He pushed her to the floor, punched her multiple times, and struck her with the bottle on her legs and arms.
During the attack, the woman was fearful for her life as Ogg shouted, “You better lock that door.
I’m going to kill you,” and warned, “I’m going to put this bottle through the window if you don’t let me in,” before forcing his way into the house violently.
As a result of the attack, she suffered a cracked cheekbone and now experiences post-traumatic stress disorder.
Ogg was found guilty of threatening and assaulting her, as well as stealing her belongings.
The sheriff decided to defer sentencing pending an assessment of his risk of reoffending, considering his extensive criminal history and multiple previous prison sentences for violent offenses.
