KEVIN BOOTH FROM ALTNABREAC TO STAND TRIAL ON SEXUAL CHARGES IN WICK

A man known for selling racing tips is set to face a court trial early next year on serious sexual misconduct charges. Kevin Booth, aged 60, has been accused of engaging in inappropriate and non-consensual sexual communication with a woman. The allegations include directing sexually explicit conversations towards her, asking intrusive questions of a sexual nature, and offering her money in exchange for engaging in sexual activity.

These alleged incidents are said to have taken place over a period spanning from August 8 to December 9, 2022. The location of the offences is reported to be Booth's residence, a secluded and historic property known as Lochdhu Lodge, situated in the remote area of Altnabreac.

When Booth appeared at Wick Sheriff Court last Wednesday, he formally entered a plea of not guilty to all charges. The court has scheduled his trial for April 1, providing a clear timeline for the legal proceedings to unfold. The case has attracted attention due to Booth's background and the serious nature of the allegations, which are now set to be examined in a court of law.
