KENNETH SOLOMON SENTENCED IN LARBER TOWN FOR ATTEMPTED RAPE OF TEENAGER

In August 2018, a disturbing case unfolded in Larbert involving a serious sexual assault on a minor. Kenneth Solomon, aged 46 and a resident of Larbert, was convicted of attempting to rape a 14-year-old girl. The conviction followed a trial held at the High Court in Glasgow during June of that year.

The court's decision culminated in Solomon being sentenced to a term of six years in prison. The sentence was backdated to June 29, ensuring that his time in custody would be counted from that date.

On the day of sentencing, Solomon appeared via video link from custody at the High Court in Edinburgh. The case has drawn significant attention due to the serious nature of the crime and the impact on the local community in Larbert.
