KENNETH JONES OF STOKE-ON-TRENT SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEX OFFENCES
In March 2016, Kenneth Jones, aged 64 and from Stoke-on-Trent, pleaded guilty to multiple charges related to child exploitation.He admitted to downloading more than 100 indecent images of children, some as young as five, and exchanging these via online chat rooms.
Jones also confessed to sharing videos depicting sexual abuse and directly contacting minors.
It was noted that Jones has been diagnosed with autistic spectrum disorder.
He was subsequently sentenced to a three-year community order, which includes participation in a sex offenders programme, along with a five-year notification requirement.
