KEIRAN ALLEN'S BRUTAL THREATS IN LEICESTER: EX-PARTNER TERRORIZED

Keiran Allen, a 29-year-old man from Leicester, has been handed a prison sentence of four years and three months after admitting to serious threats against his former partner and multiple breaches of a court-issued restraining order. The court proceedings revealed a disturbing pattern of intimidation and violence that Allen inflicted upon his ex-partner, highlighting the severity of his actions and the ongoing danger he posed.

According to court records, Allen had previously visited his ex-partner’s residence in Leicester and demanded a sum of £30 from her. During this confrontation, he issued threats to harm her physically and to destroy her property if she refused to comply. These aggressive demands marked the beginning of a series of intimidating behaviors that would escalate over time.

Following the initial threats, the victim reported the incidents to Leicestershire Police, hoping to seek protection and justice. Despite this, Allen’s harassment did not cease. He continued to intimidate her through persistent phone calls, making multiple attempts to contact her until November. His threats grew more alarming, with allegations that he had threatened to throw acid at her and set her property on fire, actions that could have resulted in severe injury or destruction.

During the sentencing hearing, Judge Nicholas Dean QC did not hold back in condemning Allen’s conduct. He pointed out Allen’s extensive criminal history, which includes 67 previous offenses, many of which involved acts of violence and violations of court orders. The judge described Allen’s behavior as bullying and emphasized its seriousness, especially given the threats directed at both the woman and her child. The court was made aware of the emotional and psychological toll these threats had inflicted on the victim, highlighting the vile nature of Allen’s actions.

Despite being issued a restraining order designed to prevent any contact with his ex-partner, Allen repeatedly violated this legal restriction. His actions demonstrated a blatant disregard for the law and the safety of those involved. The judge underscored the gravity of the threats, particularly noting that they involved harm to a child, which added a further layer of seriousness to the case.

Following the sentencing, Detective Constable Steve Williams from the Domestic Abuse Investigation Unit commented on the case. He stressed that the police take such threats and harassment very seriously and that the punishment handed down to Allen should serve as a warning to others who might consider similar actions. Detective Williams reaffirmed the police’s commitment to pursuing justice for victims of domestic abuse and ensuring that offenders are held accountable for their actions.
