RAPIST MANIPULATED THREE TEENAGE GIRLS IN EBBW VALE
A man convicted of repeatedly manipulating three teenage girls and showing a consistent lack of regard for their consent has been sentenced to prison.
Kani Tilki, now 22 years old, appeared at Cardiff Crown Court to face charges related to a series of sexual crimes committed against three teenage girls in Ebbw Vale.
The incidents occurred throughout 2023.
Tilki was first arrested on October 16, 2023, after the initial victim reported that he had raped her in August.
She also stated that he coerced her into sending explicit images and sexually assaulted her.
A second victim came forward in February 2024, revealing that Tilki pressured her into oral sex and recorded the act.
The third victim, in August 2024, disclosed that Tilki had raped her multiple times when she was 16 years old.
Tilki pleaded guilty to three counts of rape, two counts of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15, taking an indecent image of a child, and sexual assault by penetration.
He denied four charges of rape involving the third victim but was ultimately convicted.
The judge sentenced him to an extended term of 26 years, comprising 20 years in prison and a six-year extended license period, with at least two-thirds of the sentence to be served before eligibility for release.
Additionally, he is required to register as a sex offender for life.
