KAMIL KRAWIEC ARRESTED AT STANSTED AIRPORT IN HACKNEY FOR SEX OFFENCES AND FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH COURT ORDERS

In a significant development, Kamil Krawiec, a 26-year-old sex offender with ties to Hackney, was apprehended at Stansted Airport on Thursday afternoon. The arrest came after an extensive period of disappearance, during which Krawiec had been missing for approximately eight months following his court sentencing.

Back in April, Krawiec received a 10-month suspended prison sentence after being convicted of a disturbing sexual assault involving an eight-year-old boy. The incident occurred in 2005 within the confines of a restaurant where Krawiec was employed as a waiter. The court's decision was that he should be under supervision by the probation service, a condition that he failed to adhere to, as he subsequently vanished from his residence in Hackney, East London.

Authorities confirmed that Krawiec was detained at Stansted Airport on Thursday afternoon. The police acted swiftly, and he was brought before Thames Magistrates’ Court on Friday, where he was remanded into custody. The charges against him include violations related to the Sexual Offences Act 2003, specifically for failing to register his residence as required by law.

Further details reveal that Krawiec pleaded guilty to the sexual assault of the young boy, which took place on December 9, 2005. The assault happened in a restaurant where he was working at the time. The victim, an eight-year-old child, was having a meal with his family when he went to the restaurant’s toilets alone and was subsequently attacked.

In addition to the assault charge, Krawiec admitted to a separate offence of voyeurism. This incident was observed by staff at Victoria train station in London, where he was seen peering into a toilet cubicle occupied by a 15-year-old boy.
