ST ANDREWS SEX ATTACKER WHO CONFESSED VIA TEXT ORDERED TO PAY COMPENSATION
Student Juiyi Chen has been ordered to pay £1,000 compensation for committing attacks on his victim in October and November 2025.
Chen raped the woman while she pretended to be asleep, subjected her to an hour-long sexual assault, and continued to abuse her trust by indecently touching her chest and thigh.
After the incident, Chen admitted to police via email, stating he did not intend to sexually assault her and expressed remorse, taking full responsibility.
He pled guilty to two charges of sexual assault at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Chen was sentenced to be supervised for social workers for six months, made subject to a non-harassment order and registered as a sex offender for the same period.
He plans to move to Australia after completing his studies.
