MET POLICE OFFICER JOSEPH REECE CHARGED WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT
A Metropolitan Police officer has been charged with multiple sexual assault charges.PC Joseph Reece was charged with six counts of sexual assault and one count of voyeurism on April 1.
The serving officer is linked to the Met's Roads and Transport Policing Command, and was arrested on May 25, 2023, on suspicion of sexual assault by touching.
These allegations relate to two female victims over the age of 18 and are alleged to have happened between 2018 and 2022 while Reece was off-duty.
He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of voyeurism on October 30 that same year for an allegation relating to a single female victim over the age of 18, and was alleged to have happened between 2020 and 2022 while off-duty.
PC Reece will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on April 28.
He remains suspended from duty.
