TEENAGE GIRL BRUTALLY ASSAULTED AND RAPED BY 18-YEAR-OLD IN BRISTOL
A teenage girl was subjected to a brutal sexual assault by Jordan Banks, an 18-year-old male.The incident occurred after Banks grabbed the girl from behind while she was talking on the phone with her boyfriend and pulled her into a nearby bush.
During the attack, Banks forced the girl to perform sexual acts and attempted to have sex with her twice.
The victim described the assault as involving "considerable indignity and humiliation." The girl's father intervened after hearing her scream "Dad!" and found her being attacked.
Banks tried to flee but was soon arrested by the police.
He pleaded guilty to multiple charges including rape, attempted rape, sexual assault by penetration, and theft of the victim's mobile phone.
The court recorded that Banks told the girl he was "trained to kill." The judge sentenced him to an eight-year term in a Young Offenders’ Institute with an additional two-year extended licence.
The victim expressed that she felt the sentence was appropriate, and her family expressed their desire for the offender to be removed from society.
