MAN JAILED FOR NON-RECENT SEXUAL ASSAULT OFFENCES AGAINST TWO TEENAGERS
Johnathan Chapman, aged 52 and previously living on London Road in Halesworth, has been sentenced after being convicted of historic sexual assault crimes.He appeared before Ipswich Crown Court on 27 March, where he was sentenced to 34 months in prison.
The conviction came after a trial that lasted six days, culminating in a jury verdict of guilt for two sexual assault charges.
The assaults took place on different occasions, involving two female victims in their teenage years.
As part of his sentence, Chapman was also issued a five-year restraining order protecting both victims and was placed under a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order to monitor future conduct.
