MORAY MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO POSSESSING INDECENT VIDEOS OF CHILDREN AS YOUNG AS SIX
A man from Fochabers, Moray, identified as John Rouse, has been found to possess indecent videos of children as young as six.The investigation was initiated after police received reports of images being uploaded from an email account under the name 'Johnny Boy.' Police later executed search warrants at Rouse's home in Speyside, discovering four videos with a total duration of 11 minutes, including one classified as category A, the most serious type.
Rouse, aged 60, admitted to clicking on unknown links and viewing these images during police interviews, stating he did not request or like such material.
He also used internet searches such as 'young porn.' Rouse pleaded guilty to charges of making and possessing indecent photographs of children, with the offenses occurring between January 20 and February 7.
His sentence was deferred until November 28 for reports, and he was placed on the sex offenders register until then.
He has no prior convictions.
