SOUTHEND PAEDOPHILE JOHN PATERSON BANNED FROM BEING ALONE WITH GIRLS
A paedophile identified as John Paterson, also known as Jack, who committed a 'sustained' sexual attack on a young girl has been sentenced to 12 years in prison at Southend Crown Court.
He was convicted of six child sex offences committed during a half-hour assault, despite denying the charges.
Forensic tests confirmed the presence of his saliva on the victim's clothes.
The victim's family expressed their anger, claiming he 'should have got life.' Judge Samantha Cohen ordered that upon his release, Paterson will be subject to a lifelong Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
The judge emphasized, 'What I want to achieve is that Mr Paterson is not left alone with any female child, ever,' including his own children.
He will be eligible for parole in 2033 and will remain on licence until 2042, under lifelong supervision by MOSOVO officers.
The article details the sentencing, the court proceedings, and the ongoing restrictions imposed on him to prevent further harm.
