NORTH YORKSHIRE SEX OFFENDER JAILED FOR ARRANGING TO RAPE 4-YEAR-OLD GIRL
A man residing in Ripon has been convicted on nine counts related to child sexual offences, following an online operation carried out by North Yorkshire Police.John Noble, aged 36, was sentenced to 14 years after admitting to plans to sexually assault a four-year-old girl and committing additional related offences.
The court was informed that Noble coordinated these abusive acts over the internet between March and April 2021.
He was arrested by police during a planned meeting.
Police emphasized that no actual victim was involved in real life, and no children were at immediate danger.
He also faced accusations for violating the conditions of his Sexual Harm Prevention Order, which was issued in 2019, by attempting to arrange for the four-year-old girl and a baby to stay over at his house.
Detective Sergeant Lee Allenby of the Online Abuse and Exploitation Team remarked: “This was an especially troubling case, as Noble, who had been previously caught and prosecuted, was found purchasing items for a baby and sexual devices meant to facilitate abuse of the four-year-old.
“His inability to control his pedophilic inclinations is deeply concerning.
It’s frightening that he was actively planning to commit such heinous acts.” A spokesperson for the NSPCC commented: “Noble believed he was planning to meet and sexually abuse a young girl, which shows the serious danger he poses to children.
“The use of the internet by offenders like Noble to pursue their harmful desires underscores the need for enhanced legal measures and tighter regulation of online platforms.”
