JOHN ADDRISON SENTENCED FOR SEX OFFENCES IN CALDICOTT, LUDLOW, AND SLOUGH

In a case that has shocked the local communities, John Addrison, aged 54, of Datchet Road in Slough, has been sentenced to five years in prison following his conviction on multiple serious charges related to child sexual offences. The court also mandated that Addrison be placed on the Sex Offenders' Register for life, reflecting the gravity of his crimes.

The charges against Addrison stem from a series of disturbing incidents that took place over several years. Thames Valley Police formally charged him on May 1, 2012, with a range of sexual offences committed against children at Caldicott School. These offences are alleged to have occurred between 1979 and 1981, during which time Addrison was reportedly involved in inappropriate conduct towards students at the school.

Further investigations revealed additional allegations. On August 9, 2012, Addrison was charged with more child sex offences linked to Moor Park School, located near Ludlow in Shropshire. These incidents are believed to have taken place between 1985 and 1988, adding to the pattern of misconduct that spanned several years and multiple locations.

The court proceedings highlighted the disturbing nature of the offences and the impact on the victims involved. Addrison pleaded guilty to 14 counts of indecency with or towards a child, a conviction that led to his imprisonment and lifelong registration as a sex offender.
