JAZWELL BROWN FROM BLETCHLEY CONVICTED OF MURDERING TWO WOMEN AND ATTACKING NEIGHBORS IN CHRISTMAS DAY TRAGEDY

Jazwell Brown, a 49-year-old resident of Bletchley, has admitted to committing a series of violent crimes that shocked the local community and left a trail of devastation. The incident, which took place on Christmas Day, involved the brutal murder of his girlfriend, Joanne Pearson, aged 38, and their neighbor, Teohna Grant, aged 24. Brown’s actions did not stop there; he also launched a vicious attack on Joanne’s dog, Tilly, although the animal fortunately survived the assault.

In addition to these heinous acts, Brown was charged with attempting to murder two other individuals: Bradley Latter, aged 29, and a teenage boy. Both victims sustained serious injuries and were rushed to the hospital for urgent medical treatment. The severity of the injuries and the brutality of the attack underscored the dangerous nature of Brown’s actions.

Brown appeared before Luton Crown Court, where he pleaded guilty to two counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder. The prosecution built a compelling case against him, relying on witness testimonies, CCTV footage, and forensic evidence collected from the scene. Recognizing the strength of the evidence and the gravity of his crimes, Brown chose to admit guilt, thereby sparing the victims’ families the ordeal of a lengthy trial.

Det Chief Insp Stuart Brangwin of Thames Valley Police described Brown as a dangerous individual, emphasizing the brutality of the attack. “Brown is a dangerous man... this was a brutal attack on his own partner and neighbour, in their respective homes, where they should have been able to feel safe and secure,” he stated.

Celia Mardon from the Crown Prosecution Service expressed her sorrow over the tragedy, highlighting the irreversible damage caused by Brown’s actions. “This was an inexplicable attack which has done irreversible damage – robbing two women of their lives and seriously injuring two others,” she said. She also extended her sympathies to the families affected by this devastating event.

Brown is now facing a life sentence for his crimes. He has been remanded into custody and will remain so until his sentencing hearing scheduled for May 22.
