DAD JAILED FOR SPITTING AT EX-PARTNER DURING BABY JOSTLE
A young father identified as Jayson Stephen Whittle, aged 26, was involved in a domestic assault incident where he repeatedly spat at his former partner, Lindsey Hastings, during a confrontation involving their baby's pushchair.The incident was reported and heard in Burnley magistrates court, where Whittle admitted to common assault committed on January 11.
Following his conviction, he was sentenced to a 12-month community order with supervision, and was ordered to pay £100 in compensation along with £75 in legal costs.
During the court proceedings, Whittle expressed remorse by telling police he was sorry and disgusted at his actions.
