DISGUSTING MAN CARRIED OUT SEX ACT IN FRONT OF A CHILD AT MCDONALD'S IN RAWTENSTALL
Registered sex offender Christopher Taylor was only permitted to use a public toilet if in a cubicle for individual use – a condition of a sexual harm prevention order. In June this year, Taylor, 46, stood next to the urinals at McDonald's in Rawtenstall and carried out a sex act in full view of a young boy who was washing his hands after using the toilet.
The boy was upset and told his mum that ‘something’ happened in the bathroom that’s really weird.
Following an investigation and tracing CCTV footage of Taylor’s car to Manchester, he was arrested.
He appeared at Preston Crown Court for sentencing on November 7, pleading guilty to engaging in sexual activity in front of a child under 13 and breaching his sexual harm prevention order.
Taylor was sentenced to an extended term of eight years imprisonment.
Detective constable Adam Rainsbury of Burnley CID described the behaviour as disgusting and emphasized that such conduct will not be tolerated.
