JAYSON BINNIE CAUGHT IN THAMES DITTON AND KINGSTON FLASHING NEAR TIFFIN GIRLS SCHOOL

In June 2007, a man named Jayson David Binnie, aged 34, from Woodfield Road in Thames Ditton, found himself at the center of a disturbing incident involving public indecency near Kingston. Binnie was caught engaging in inappropriate behavior twice in an alleyway adjacent to Tiffin Girls School, a well-known educational institution in Kingston. The first incident occurred in April of that year, when a teacher at the school unexpectedly witnessed Binnie in the act.

According to court proceedings at Kingston Magistrates' Court, prosecutor Gary Sparrow detailed the events: "The teacher had just finished teaching a class of 15-16-year-old girls. As the students were heading back towards the changing rooms, she saw a man with his hand in his groin, masturbating. Fortunately, the girls did not see him."

Mr. Sparrow further explained that approximately a month later, a neighbor observed Binnie in a similar state of arousal at the same location. In both instances, Binnie exposed his genitals, specifically his penis, to the public.

When police apprehended him, Binnie initially denied any involvement, claiming he was in the area for exercise. However, he later admitted to the offenses, which included three additional incidents in the London area. His admission came after initial denials, revealing a pattern of behavior that spanned multiple locations.

During the court hearing, Binnie expressed remorse for his actions. He stated, "I am ashamed of what I have done in the past, and I would like the opportunity to participate in a sex offenders' programme."

As part of his sentence, Binnie was ordered to attend a sexual offenders' rehabilitation programme and to pay costs amounting to £70. Additionally, his name has been entered onto the sexual offenders' register, marking a formal record of his conviction and ensuring ongoing monitoring of his conduct.
