BRACKLA MAN JAY EDWARDS SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL ABUSE AND ABDUCTION OF TEENAGE GIRL IN BRIDGEND
In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Brackla and the wider Bridgend area, Jay Edwards, a 31-year-old man, was found guilty of heinous crimes involving a teenage girl under the age of 16.The offences, which included sexual abuse and abduction, took place over a period spanning 2021 and early 2022, culminating in a court ruling that has brought justice to the victim and her family.
Edwards, who resides in Brackla, was initially arrested after the teenage girl confided in a family member about the abuse she had endured.

The court found him guilty of all seven counts of sexual activity with a child and the charge of child abduction.
In sentencing, Edwards was handed an 11-year prison term.
