MAN JAILED FOR TWO YEARS AND EIGHT MONTHS FOR ASSAULT
A man who severely assaulted a woman and issued a death threat in August of the previous year has been sentenced to 32 months in prison.On 29 August 2025, a woman in her twenties visited Bedworth police station with visible injuries, including bruises, scratches, and cuts on her face and body, along with a broken nose.
She reported that Jason Price, aged 29 and residing on Wentloog Road in Cardiff, had attacked her at a residence in Bedworth.
He reportedly threatened her with a knife and strangled her during the incident.
Following his arrest on 30 August, authorities conducted a search of his van and discovered a knife matching the description provided by the victim.
Price admitted to charges including causing actual bodily harm through assault, which involved non-fatal strangulation and threats using a bladed weapon, as well as controlling and coercive behavior.
On 12 May 2026, Warwick Crown Court sentenced him to two years and eight months imprisonment.
