HOLBEACH MAN JASON OSWICK SPARED JAIL AFTER INDECENT IMAGES CONVICTION
A Holbeach man has been convicted of creating dozens of indecent images of children but has avoided immediate imprisonment.Jason Oswick, 45, of Northons Lane, appeared at Boston Magistrates’ Court where he admitted multiple counts of making indecent images of children, including some of the most serious Category A images.
Charges Oswick pleaded guilty to: • Making 16 Category A images • 28 Category B images • 77 Category C images • Three Category A moving images • Five Category B moving images The offences were committed between 2 December 2022 and 23 February 2023.
Sentencing Despite the severity of the charges, Oswick was handed a 10-month prison sentence suspended for 18 months.
He was also made subject to a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) and placed under a 12-month Mental Health Treatment Requirement.
Additional restrictions include being deprived of the right to own or use a laptop, and he must also comply with the requirement to register as a sex offender with police.
