BRADFORD MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO SEXUAL ASSAULT AFTER DRUNKEN INCIDENT
A COURT has heard how an “extremely drunk” man pushed a woman against a wall and kissed her on the mouth.
Jason Mundy, 57, of Institute Road, Eccleshill, Bradford, was involved in an incident at licensed premises in the Bradford district in late 2023, where he showed “clear guilt and shame” as well as genuine remorse.
He pleaded guilty to sexual assault and was ordered to register as a sex offender for the next five years.
The case was heard at Bradford Crown Court, which noted Mundy’s lack of previous convictions and described his actions as “very out of character”.
The court also imposed a two-year community order, 30 rehabilitation activity days, a six-month alcohol treatment program, and a six-month curfew from 7 pm to 7 am.
