A sheriff has mandated a man to undertake unpaid community service after he engaged in inappropriate behavior outside a flat in Dundee.
James Kinmond has been placed on the sex offenders register for his actions at a property in the Stobswell area of Dundee on July 25 of the previous year.
He admitted to deliberately exposing himself and performing a sexual act in front of a man, which involved approaching the residence while unclothed, peering through the letterbox, and indecently touching himself.
On the day of his trial at Dundee Sheriff Court, the 45-year-old pleaded guilty to these charges.
During the sentencing, Sheriff George Way described the incident as 'very disturbing.' Kinmond was sentenced to a supervision period of three years, with conditions including participation in alcohol counseling and the Moving Forward to Change program aimed at sex offenders.
Additionally, he is required to complete 120 hours of unpaid work, and his registration on the sex offenders list will coincide with his supervision term.
