JAMES CLELLAND FROM BLANTYRE SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL ABUSE OF CHILDREN IN LANARKSHIRE
In a case that has shocked the community of Blantyre and the wider Lanarkshire area, James Clelland, aged 28, was convicted of serious sexual offences committed against young children over a span of nearly a decade.The crimes, which involved two girls and a young boy, began when the victims were as young as four and five years old, highlighting the disturbing nature and prolonged duration of Clelland's abusive behavior.
Clelland's criminal activities came to light after a series of investigations that culminated in his arrest in January of the previous year.

In sentencing, Lord Philip sentenced Clelland to a term that reflects the seriousness of his actions, and he also ordered that Clelland be subject to strict supervision after his release.
