PARENTS JAILED OVER DEATH OF THREE-MONTH-OLD GIRL
The parents of a three-month-old girl that died have been jailed after they were found guilty of causing her serious physical harm.Emergency services were called to a flat in Stafford in February 2021 to reports of a baby in cardiac arrest.
She died on her way to hospital.
Jack Davies, 26, and Terrie Marie Wood, 23, both of Stafford were found guilty of causing or allowing a child to suffer serious physical harm in October.
A post-mortem test had shown evidence of a head injury, which likely occurred several days before her death, and multiple rib fractures, Staffordshire Police said.
Davies was jailed for two years and Wood was jailed for one year and eight months on Tuesday.
