JACK PLATT FROM SHAW SENTENCED TO SEVEN YEARS FOR CHILD SEX OFFENSES IN MANCHESTER
In August 2010, a man from Shaw, identified as Jack Platt, was sentenced to a prison term of seven years at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court.The court heard that Platt, aged 63 and residing on Scowcroft Lane, had pleaded guilty to a series of serious charges involving the exploitation of a minor.
