JACK MARSHALL FROM SYMINGTON FACES SERIOUS CHILD PORNOGRAPHY CHARGES IN AYR

Jack Marshall, a 31-year-old former student of Glasgow Clyde College, is currently in custody facing multiple serious allegations related to the possession of indecent images of children. The charges stem from an investigation that uncovered illicit material on his computer, with Marshall asserting that he was the victim of a cyber attack orchestrated by hostile foreign agents, specifically citing the Russian 'FSB' and Chinese operatives as responsible.

Marshall appeared before Ayr Sheriff Court to respond to the charges, which include taking or permitting the taking of indecent images or pseudo images of children between October 9, 2019, and January 15, 2021. He is also accused of possessing such images at his residence on Doon Place in Symington. Additionally, he faces a charge of possessing a quantity of cannabis on January 15, 2021, and has previously failed to appear in court on multiple occasions, including May 3 and September 7 of the previous year.

During the court proceedings, Procurator Fiscal Depute Craig Wainwright informed the court that the Crown was prepared to proceed with a trial scheduled for Monday, December 16. It was also noted that Marshall had gone through several solicitors over the course of his multiple court appearances spanning nearly two years.
