SHEFFIELD RAPIST SENTENCED TO 20 YEARS FOR BRUTAL ASSAULTS
A ‘violent and dangerous’ Sheffield rapist has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for multiple rapes and violent assaults committed against a woman.
Jack Anthony Enters, aged 35 and formerly residing in Castle Walk, Sheffield, was sentenced after being found guilty of numerous counts of rape and assault earlier this year, despite denying the charges.
He victimized a woman in her 20s over an extended period within the Sheffield area.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Ian Chamberlain expressed his support for the victim’s bravery, stating, 'Enters subjected this woman to multiple rapes and violent assaults and she has shown remarkable bravery throughout this investigation.' He continued, 'He is a violent and dangerous man, and I am very pleased he is behind bars for a considerable period of time where he can harm nobody else.' Detective Chamberlain also hoped the length of his imprisonment would help the victim find some closure and move past her traumatic experience.
