LABOUR COUNCILLOR IRFAN MOHAMMED ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT & EXPOSURE

The Metropolitan Police issued a statement confirming that three men, including Mohammed aged 42, appeared at Croydon Magistrates' Court following their arrest at the scene of an incident on Saturday, July 12, on Copleston Road, SE15.
Officers responded to reports of assault on a woman who was not hospitalized.
The police further stated, "Three men have been charged with a series of offences following a fast-paced investigation by detectives." Mohammed, who resides in Peckham, was suspended by the Lambeth Labour group earlier this week, which removed him from all responsibilities and committee roles while investigations continue.
