HOWARD MIDDLETON FROM REDHILL, SURREY, ARRESTED FOR SUSPECTED CHILD SEXUAL OFFENSES AND WEAPONS POSSESSION

Howard Middleton, a resident of Redhill, Surrey, was detained on January 18, 2025, following concerns over his online interactions with minors. He was accused of engaging in sexually inappropriate conversations with two 13-year-old girls and arranging to meet one of them. Additionally, officers found him in possession of three blade-like weapons in a public area.

The investigation revealed that Middleton had planned to meet one of the 13-year-olds next week. However, due to the explicit nature of their communications and the risk of him meeting a real child, authorities intervened sooner to prevent any potential harm.

Authorities gave special thanks to the PPI team and their decoy for their efforts, noting they had a meeting scheduled with a 14-year-old decoy on the upcoming Monday. “It was lovely to meet you both ❤️,” they said.

Furthermore, officers commended the security personnel who monitored Middleton’s behavior, noting, “A huge well done to security who kept his hands out of his pockets, thank goodness they did as he had two knives in his pocket.”

Surrey Police responded promptly, with two officers handling the situation effectively, earning praise for their response.
