BOGNOR MAN JAILED AFTER SEXUALLY ASSAULTING TWO WOMEN WHILE THEY SLEPT
Harry Triggs, aged 24, appeared at Lewes Crown Court on Monday, January 19, for his sentencing hearing following his guilty plea to all charges in November 2025, according to police reports.A statement from the police, issued on January 30, explained that Triggs received a sentence of 36 months, with an 18-month prison term and an additional 18 months on extended licence.
The charges involved multiple sexual offences for which he admitted guilt.
Additionally, he was subject to a ten-year restraining order aimed at protecting two women involved.
Triggs, residing on Merton Close in Bognor Regis, was initially detained in August 2022.
He was released on bail while authorities conducted further investigations.
The police statement noted that, after a detailed inquiry, Triggs faced charges on September 1, 2025, for two counts of sexual assault and one count of sexual assault by penetration.
He was re-arrested on September 30, 2025, after failing to appear in court.
Investigating officer DC Frances Block stated that both women were asleep and unable to give consent during the incidents.
She also mentioned that the second victim was in a particularly vulnerable condition at the time of the offences.
