GURMAL SINGH FROM ACOKS GREEN CHARGED WITH MULTIPLE SEXUAL OFFENCES IN WARWICKSHIRE

A man identified as Gurmal Singh, a resident of Birmingham's Acocks Green area, has been formally charged with a series of serious sexual offences following an incident that took place in Warwickshire. The incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday, July 9, in the town of Southam, which is situated near Daventry Road. According to police reports, a young girl was subjected to a sexual assault during this time, with authorities describing the incident as a rape.

Warwickshire Police confirmed that Singh, aged 28 and living on Arden Road in Acocks Green, Birmingham, was taken into custody and subsequently charged with multiple criminal offences. These include sexual activity with a child, two counts of rape, and an additional charge of assault by beating. The police have issued a call for witnesses, particularly those who may have observed any suspicious or unusual activity in the vicinity of Southam between 6pm and 8pm on the day of the incident.

Authorities are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist with their investigation.
