STIRLING MAN SENTENCED AFTER ATTACKING WOMAN IN FRONT OF HER CHILDREN
A man from Stirling has been sentenced to perform community service after an incident during which he took a woman’s glasses off her face in front of her children.Graeme Philliben threw her eyewear amid an argument at a residence in the St Ninians district of the city.
The woman was trying to de-escalate the situation by moving to a different room but was followed by the 36-year-old defendant.
His legal representative stated that Philliben was intoxicated at the time of the incident.
On June 21, Philliben admitted to threatening and abusive conduct.
As a result, he was placed under a 12-month supervision order and mandated to complete 150 hours of unpaid work.
Additionally, he received a 31-week restriction of liberty order and a five-year non-harassment order.
