GERARD PORTEOUS JAILED FOR HORRENDOUS SEX CRIMES IN COATBRIDGE AND PAISLEY

Most recently, in 2018, Porteous was convicted of multiple counts of rape, assault, and indecent assault related to two women he abused during the 1980s and 1990s. These convictions culminated in his latest sentencing at the High Court in Glasgow, where he was handed a significant penalty. The court ordered that he serve a minimum of six years behind bars, but with the possibility of remaining incarcerated for life.
