DUNDEE MAN GUILTY OF CONTROLLING AND ABUSIVE BEHAVIOUR DURING POLICE INTERVIEW
Gavin Greer, a 32-year-old man from Baldovan Terrace in Dundee, is now facing a prison sentence after admitting to engaging in an abusive pattern of behaviour towards his former partner between June 2017 and December 2019 at multiple addresses in Dundee.
Greer, who is an electrician by profession, subjected his partner to controlling and abusive conduct, including isolating her from friends and family, threatening to petrol bomb her brother's home, and bombarding her with insulting calls and messages.
Throughout the campaign of harassment, Greer also threatened to kill himself and pinned his partner against a wall, throwing parts of a clothes horse at her.
The abuse escalated to sending abusive messages while she was being interviewed by police, which was seen during the investigation.
Greer pleaded guilty to behaving abusively towards his former partner.
The sheriff court deferred the sentencing until the following month for social work reports, but his bail order was allowed to continue.
