GARY STEVENSON'S SHOCKING CHILD PORNOGRAPHY SCANDAL IN LINLITHGOW

In February 2010, a disturbing case emerged involving Gary Stevenson, a resident of Linlithgow, West Lothian, who was found to have secretly stored a collection of heinous child pornography on his parents' computer. The discovery was made quite unexpectedly when an engineer was called to repair the family’s computer system. During the process of replacing the hard drive with a new one, the technician uncovered a disturbing cache of illicit videos.

Upon further investigation, the engineer contacted law enforcement authorities, leading to a police raid on the Stevenson family home in Linlithgow. During the hearing, the fiscal depute Julia McLaren emphasized the gravity of the case, describing the videos as involving young boys and girls aged from 18 months up to 16 years old. The court was informed of the disturbing nature of the material and Stevenson’s role in acquiring and storing it. His actions have sparked outrage and concern within the community of Linlithgow, where such a heinous crime has come to light.
