MAN JAILED FOR CONTROLLING AND COERCIVE BEHAVIOUR
A man has been sentenced for engaging in controlling and coercive behavior, as well as for deliberately strangling a woman.On Friday, 21 November, 24-year-old Fenton Woods received a prison sentence of two years and eight months after admitting guilt in court the previous month at Lincoln Crown Court.
Charges related to intentional suffocation and assault were recorded but not prosecuted.
Additionally, Woods received a restraining order against him.
Over a span of three years starting in 2022, Woods, who was at that time residing on Skegness Road in Burgh le Marsh, exercised control over a female victim by dictating her clothing choices, scrutinizing her phone, and confining her within a house.
